In addition to this main web site, there is now a second "mobile friendly" site that will display well on small screens such as smartphones and tablets.

It is not a local app that is installed to your device, so it does require a network connection to the web site. This should not be too big of a problem for most people, as there will be free WiFi throughout the hotel, and many people already have a data plan for their phones.

The focus of the site is to provide you with just the facts that you need during the day, and all other extraneous information has been omitted. There are no links to the NMRA store and you can’t register via the site, for example. It has been designed to be lightweight, in that there are very few pictures or other data consuming features, so it should load quickly and consume a minimum of data traffic.

The intention is to keep both sites up to date daily, so that you can be aware of last minute changes, additions, etc.

By releasing it now, we hope that people will learn their way around the site in advance, so that it will not be too much to grasp all at once when the convention starts.

From here on out, both sites will be updated as new information and changes are posted, so if you find an inconsistency, please let me know!
